Does anyone have any documents, pictures or ANYTHING related to the heavy tank battalions of the Heer ?
I am interested in originals, copies, post-war letters, pictures, Soldbuchs, Wehrpasses and all.
Both for research and collecting. If you have it but it is definately not for sale I'd be interested in the information it contains.

thanks !
Dale

No I did not buy it, I'm not exactly sure what it is

The auction said it was signed by Rommel :?

I believe it was an artists impression o fthe Tiger II. I don't think the Rommel sihg is real, I think the auction said so also...

Yes - I've seen the print as well. It definately shows a Tiger II but says Tiger 1 I believe... Also has 10.5cm cannon when the TII had the 8.8 überlang.
Nice pic though...

Stalktiger - you are right, the print says 10.5cm. This is interresting, as this proves the signature to be false.

The suggestion to re-arm the Tiger II with the 10.5cm by Krupp came in November 1944 - one month after Rommel died. This should lower its value quite a bit...

The rest of the item looks authentic, though. I have never understood why some people try to highten a items value by altering a historical document. It only destroys it :(
