Third Reich signatures.
Re: Third Reich signatures.
More prominent speakers:
Dr.Runge - DSP delegate from Leipzig
Could be Nr.2 or 4
Dr.Schilling - delegate from Ostschlesien (Polen)
Could be Nr.10
Max Sesselmann - DSP delegate from München
Could be Nr.1
Don't have anything for either Heinrich Kraeger or Ferdinand Burchofsky

Re: Third Reich signatures.
Great. Thanks Greg. I think we are making progress!
I would say Dr Runge is odds on to be Nr.2, Max Sesselmann Nr.1 and Dr.Schilling Nr.10.
Fantastic. Thanks very much for your contribution Greg.
The interesting thing about these signatures is that , as far, as I know, Dr Riehl was credited as being the first person to use the swastika as a fascist symbol. The second person to use the swastika as a fascist symbol was Hitler and was adopted as the emblem of the NSDAP on the 7th August 1920 during the Salzburg rally where this card was signed.

Re: Third Reich signatures.
I think Runge is Dr Hans Runge (1892-1964) and Schilling is Dr Alexander Schilling (no dates).
Re: Third Reich signatures.
I think nr.9 is Ferdinand Ertl (1877-1952)
Re: Third Reich signatures.
I am also wondering if Nr.4 might be Wilhelm Prediger
Re: Third Reich signatures.
That was also my thought, judging by the number of letters, but I couldn't work out any of them!I think nr.9 is Ferdinand Ertl
He was mentioned as "Obmann der deutschen Eisenbahner", not sure if he was a speaker...
I don't have that name.Nr.4 might be Wilhelm Prediger
But there are three names from "Oberösterreichische Nationasozialisten": Wagner, Hans Prodinger, Walter Gattermeyer
There are also several longer surnames which may fit Nr.6

Re: Third Reich signatures.
Seems to be correct !Dr Alexander Schilling
I have this. It also mentions Walter Gattermeyer (misspelled) from my previous post!
Re: Third Reich signatures.
I think 4 is probably Prediger. There is certainly an 'ige' in there.
If that's right here is what it looks like now:
1. Sesselman Max (1898-1968) Editor of Volkischer Beobachter 1919-1920. Hitler Putsch 1923.
2. Runge Dr.Hans (1892-1964) Medical doctor and ardent National Socialist. Speaker at the Salzburg Rally.
3. Knirsch Hans (1877-1933) Second Chairman of the DAP. Later senior member of the DNSAP.
4. Prediger Wilhelm (Dates Unknown) Co-founder and first Chairman of the German Worker’s Party (DAP) in 1903
5. Jung Rudolf (1882-1945) Joined the DAP in 1909. Driving force in promoting German-Czech National Socialism. Joined DNSAP in 1919. Close colleague of Dr Riehl.
6. Burschofsky Ferdinand (1903-) Founder of German Worker’s Party (DAP) in 1903
7. Riehl Dr.Walter (1881-1955) First leader of the new German National Socialist Worker’s Party (DNSAP) in 1918. First designer of the swastika as a fascist emblem in February 1920. First displayed in public on the 1st May 1920. Credited with giving Hitler the idea of adding National Socialist to his Worker’s Party although it was Rudolf Jung who convinced Hitler to adopt the term.
8. Brunner Alfred (1881-1936) Founder of the German Socialist Party (DSP) in 1918.
9. Ertl Ferdinand (1877-1952) Third Chairman of the DAP. Resigned 1912.
10. Schilling Dr.Alexander (No dates) Sudeten Czech delegate at the Salzburg Rally. Gave a lecture on the Germans in Czechslovakia at the Hofbrauhaus in Munich which was interrupted by a Bavarian separatist who in turn was interrupted by Hitler. The separatist was badly beaten by Hitler’s supporters and Hitler ended up in jail.
11. Hitler Adolf (1889-1945). Second designer of the swastika as a Fascist symbol. The emblem on the Nazi flag was adopted at the Salzburg Rally on the 7th August 1920. On the 8th August 1920 Hitler also received permission to rename the German Worker’s Party (DAP) to the National Socialist German Worker’s Party (NSDAP). It was also at this Rally that Hitler suggested that the Jews had to be ‘removed from our midst’. Essentially his first public reference to what was to become ‘The Final Solution’.

Re: Third Reich signatures.
May I ask, if this Gauleiter Bohle Signature is a forgery? In my opinion the B looks slightly different....

Re: Third Reich signatures.
He had variant signatures Nicholas but on balance I would say it is probably OK.

Re: Third Reich signatures.
Incidentally there are several books availble which contain facsimile copies of THird Reich autographs.
Leaders & Personalities of the 3rd Reich: Their Biographies, Portraits, and Autographs, Volumes 1 & 2 - Bender Publishing
Signatures of the Third Reich. The International Collector's Guide. Emilie Caldwell Stewart 1996
Autographs of national socialism - Band 1 & 2 (André Huesken)
They will be fairly easy to find on the net.

Re: Third Reich signatures.
Yes, that's true. The one in the Hamilton Book made me wonder, because in the version I posted the line from the "B" is missing.
