Re: Third Reich signatures.
Gestapo founder Rudolf Diels, not my letter.
Can anyone read this?
I am attaching my own Diels sig, just for the sake of the thread.

This is our one……Hitler
Re: Third Reich signatures.
After many a year I am still unable to find out who these signatures belonged to. One belongs to a Regiment-Kdr and the others belong to Bataillon/Abteilung-Kdr.
1. Rgt-Kdr for Infanterie-Rgt 547 (328.Infanterie-Division) and dated 27-03-1942. Being an Oberst in early 1942 I would have thought that he would have stood a good chance of reaching General rank (unless killed or wounded) but still nothing has revealed itself.
2. Kommandeur of III/Inf.Rgt 220 (58.Infanterie-Division). I know the surname is Hansing based on the division's Dec-1941 Stellenbesetzung but can't find his first name or any other details.
3. Kommandeur of II/Gebirgsjäger-Rgt 144 (3.Gebirgs-Division). Lexikon only lists one name for 1943 and that is Kurt Körber which I can't see in that signature.
4. Kommandeur of III/Grenadier-Rgt 203 (76.Infanterie-Division). It is dated for July-1943 and looks like it begins with 'von der'

And...
5. Kommandeur of Panzerjäger-Abt 125 (125.Infanterie-Division) and dated for late 1940. The only name I can find linked to this unit in 1940 is a Major Robert Schmidt but that name doesn't seem to fit the signature and the signers rank is Oberstleutnant (so as with the Rgt-Kdr above, there could have been a chance he reached General rank by war's end if not killed, wounded or dismissed).

Re: Request for Identification of Generals and Admirals
Urkunde signed by Divisionsführer Oberst 1943... maybe it is a later general..Could someone identify his name?
The other 2 Cuts are also unknown....maybe Kapitän zur Se is the signature of Ernst von Studnitz..could someone confirm this?

Re: Request for Identification of Generals and Admirals
This is the signature of Oberst (later GdI) Walther Melzer (1894-1961).
There are times in history when staying neutral means taking sides.

Re: Third Reich signatures.
Hi,
I am trying to find out which Generalmajor (Luftwaffe) signed the attached document.
It is the Commander of Höheres Fl.Ausbildungskommando 2.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards
Lars
