Hi Max,
funny, that the stork at that time was labeled as "Stoßdampfer" in the scenery, a rather ambiguous greeting for a child's baptism.
In the German slang, "stoßen/stossen" was taken to sexual intercourse, so pretty crude military humour, pretty drastic for those years, but not that uncommon, you see something like this quite often, thanks for posting.
By the way, the photo was taken after 1933, look closely at the peaked caps...

such group photos are a collector's area in themselves, many of these photos achieve quite high prices in auctions worldwide.
Soldier humor is a nice collectible theme, and some gallows humor (G: "Galgenhumor") often played a role in these images, thanks again for posting!
