General Conduct of Operations: Modified at Madrid
1. Nationalist Forces employed an effective Motorised Approach of Truck Transported Units against Republican Forces

2. Nationalist Motorised Columns would suddenly appear giving Republican Forces little time to React. Advance warning was usually not the case due to
lack of communicaitons equipment

3. In the Helter Skelter action of suddenly appearing Nationalist Forces dismounting from fast Moving Trucks, Republican Units were generally unprepared
and would have to take up hasty positions where they stood

4. Republican Garrisons could generally be quickly surrounded , and Cutoff. Nationalist Trucks towing Artillery would then be brought up to Reduce the
Garrison
5. At Madrid the Republican Command devised a plan of manned Strong Points near the outskirts
