It's slated for a 2006 release, however that is dependant upon the product being to the developer's intended standards, not a deadline. I believe beta testing is still open for applications but read the website info as they seem to be very circumspect about who they pick, i.e. don't suck up and give them a good reason for participating.Oberst Mihael wrote:The game is coming out this year? :O
EDIT: I just heard that beta testing is coming up soon. Any truth to that?

I wanna know how they moddeled the MAUS, I've only ever seen 1 picture of it, and that one is a wreck
EDIT: Scratch that, just goggled it, and there's quite a few pictures around
Anyway, glad theres so many tanks in the game, I wonder if it'll be lame like HP bars on tanks, so a Sherman can destroy a Tiger II

I don't think so, there are no HP bars for the infantry, it works like RO. I think the tank battles are going to be made very realistic. But sure, if you're lucky and experienced you could probably "take out" (M-kill) a Tiger 2Anyway, glad theres so many tanks in the game, I wonder if it'll be lame like HP bars on tanks, so a Sherman can destroy a Tiger II

Heh, only if it was a factory defect
So, you think tank bouts shall be similar to ShoWW2? There it's damage to what you hit, types of ammo, types of gun, ammount of armour ect.
Still, I wonder if as a fallschrimjager, you can fall back to an axis airfeild get into a Ju52 and fly over Normandy, and jump down on those pesky airborne

Super-advanced Ageia physics system, next-gen graphics, 200+ player MP games, if your gun is hit, you drop it, the ability to dig foxholes. Apparently all this will be done this year by a team, I doubt is very large or well-funded.spargonaut wrote:It's slated for a 2006 release ...Oberst Mihael wrote:The game is coming out this year? :O

So far there have been no screenshots, videos or anything proving this game's existence. I think it just sounds too incredible to be true.
