It came out in Russia in November and it received positive reviews. Uniforms and battle scenes are well done.

Producer of the movie promised that it will come out with English subs on DVD.

Looks interesting. Nice BMP to Panzer III conversion.

Now available in the UK. Just watched it and very impressed.
The "heroism", although present is restrained.
To my educated, but not expert, eye the general accuracy is excellent, although I did note issues that "rivet counters" will criticise, but I choose not to.
The Pz IIIs are clearly reconstructions on modern soviet vehicle bases, but at least I could see a clear effort to represent a contemporary vehicle, unlike some films I have watched (M47 Pattons vs M48 Pattons!).
I cannot speak for the precise history, but nothing seems wholly unreasonable.
Good watching!

I totally concur. This is a very well done film. Action scenes are not "over the top" and all the uniforms & weapons seem to be the real deal. Even the mock Panzer III looks good enough, though it is indeed build on a chassis of a BMP.

Absolutely the best war russia movie I have ever seen ,really spectacular decor ,it`s a rough and immediate message about thewar fury. The coolest snapshot for me`s ,when a german panzer rolled over death Russians.
I`m so big expert about the weapons and the uniforms ,however I didn`t see any mistake. Just a few things seems to me strange ,when wehrmacht soldiers shoot from the machine gun to an unarmed civilians - I`m not sure whether things like this happens in the very beginning of the war and when germans used russian unforms as a saboteurs. But how knows.
Anyway ,really very good war movie ,which I can recommend to you.Btw on the Czech internet`s this movie available to download - in original language ,if someone want a link just let me know.

This movie was very impressive and interesting in all aspects. A great achievment for sure.

But how accurate is it, indeed ?

It is also known as 'Battle of Honor' or 'Fortress of War' https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fortress_of_War
