Hi all,

This novel, set at the infamous Burma railway in 1943, won the Man Booker prize for 2014. We're especially chuffed with it because Richard Flanagan, already a celebrated Australian writer, is a fellow Tasmanian. Here's the Amazon link:

I haven't actually read it yet but i'm going to download it onto my Kindle and it'll be next in line. Has anyone else on hear read this novel and/or have any thoughts?

Cheers,
Adam.
