German Report: With more troops, time and some luck, Victory can be had, there is little of any to be had in previous attacks.
Flanking attempts require 2 Turns to bet into a jumping off point, and engage any Russian Units. Moving Thru the Stream is time consuming , exhaustive, and is chancy, even with the Stream shallow. Attempting to luck out going thru mines and wire also has proven problematic.

Luck finally played a hand in the last play test, the Russian Cupola MG jammed, leaving a possibly decisive weak point, 9th SS elements of 3 Squads with 6+ 1 Leader in Position for just such an opportunity storm down the Road into the Cupola Hex to be greeted with searing fire from the Russian Command Bunker 2-5-7, point blank 24 Firepower Factors. Two SS Squads and the Leader retreat, with one Squad somehow getting by unscathed, this pressure cooker action breaks both Russian Squads and the Commissar in the Bunker. Behind this Bunker is a Russian 447 with MMG to Cover the Bunker from Close assault, these multiple layers of Covering fire seem to no end. The remaining SS Squad will have to clear the Bunker, and knock out that 447 and MG to place the Victory in German Hands.

Further Reinforcements from Germany cannot be expected, however a Secret Operations Unit, brought by U Boat has arrived to lead the Next attack,
this Special Unit can be added to the German at Start OB.

Turn 3 German Combat Report:
1. The Soviet Armored Turret B32 Hex W5 now has a big dent in it after that Shock result, and is out of action for now.
2. The Soviet Command Bunker 2-5-7 along with its complement of 2 Russian 458 Elite Squads/Commissar/MMG has been eliminated along with
the Soviet MG Position Hex V5.
3.Leutnant Brucke actions put a 1-3-5 Bunker out of action with a thrown DC, Leutnant Brucke unfortunately could not get clear of the blast in time.
representing the current German situation of the crippling loss of leaders and surplus of broken German Squads in this wearing Battle.
4. Remaining Soviet Positions consist of a 1-3-5 Bunker and BT 7 Soviet Panzer at the east end of the Russian Perimeter , in the 3 Hex Victory Range
of B32 Hex W5, at least 3 Russian Squads are reported in these Hexes.
5. Remaining German Kampfgruppe Norway Units: 548 Elite Squads x 3/Leader 9-2/Support Weapons /DC/MMG/LMG x2 cannot afford any setbacks
for the Turn 4-5 action, with current deficit of Good Order German Squads that cannot be Rallied.
Turn 4 German Attack Group B32 Hex W4 observations:
1. The Soviet Armored MG Turret has come back to life recovering from Shock Counter dr 2, and is swing its Gun Around towards us, the Gun Crew must make short work of this Russian Menace once and for all for the last battle.
2. Charging through the Armored Turrets 6 FP MG is not advisable, if it cannot be knocked out quickly, the assault must go across the Stream 3 MF, then up the wooded bank 4 MF to reach the Russian Positions at the top. A Volcano of Fire from the Russian Positions can be expected, Herr Hauptmann Rost has given the Order, Attack.
