Son of Saul, an Oscar winning movie about a Auschwitz inmate from the Sonderkommando who was forced to burn the corpses of the gassed jews in the crematories.

Watched it yesterday on french-german TV channel ARTE. A true nightmare, disturbing and hard to watch.

Trailer:

best regards

As mentioned above, Son of Saul revolves around a day or two in the Sonderkommando and is well made. In a similar theme, and also well made is The Grey Zone (Auschwitz) which is based on the memoirs of Dr Miklos Nyiszli.
Other KZ films/productions...
The Counterfeiters (Sachsenhausen - Operation Bernhard)
Sophie's Choice
The Boy in the Striped Pajamas
Life is Beautiful
Naked Among Wolves (Buchenwald)
Out of the Ashes (Auschwitz)
Playing For Time (Auschwitz)

I did hear this week that there is a recent Russian made version of Escape From Sobibor but I don't know anything about it.

The Devil's Arithmetic (TV movie)
Soon I'll be able to read bestenhancedodds-com info. And there's not a single doubt about it. I believe I have found the right place for real men like me.
