Even Fictional World War II stories appeared in Readers Digest Magazine
One was a 1938 Story Address Unknown

I liked the refer. to AirClassics and Warbirds International magazines.. surprised the other 2 same owned mags by the same guy did not print a new story of this Wings and Airpower. as those 4 magazines back then had some very questionable stories about warbirds,etc..(lots of wrong facts) WARTIME STORIES published as real are common, it's part of the propaganda thing.
