The U S Player Cover Fire on Level One Hill with Pack Howitzer, and Base of Fire with 8-1 Leader, 667 Squad x 3/HMG 6 -12
The Pack Howitzer has Special Ammo/Phosphorous/ WP # 8 on back of Counter, to fire into the Japanese Blockhouse Hex, Level One Hill, during U. S> Prep Fire
If Area To Hit/Placement of Phosphorous succeeds, any Fire from Japanese Blockhouse will have +3 Smoke Hindrance/Modifier to that Fire vs
U S Units.
1. The U S Player observes, there is a Gap in the Field of Fire between Blockhouse Pill Boxes, and Places Assault Group in Position to take advantage of this Gap.
2. Assault Group: M3 LT Stuart/ 9-1 Leader/ 667 Squad x 2/Flamethrower/DC
3. Setup Rules: AFV may Setup in Restrictive Terrain /Woods/Jungle Terrain , at no detriment/ and may fire from Hex, or move from Jungle Terrain
Hex during Move Phase, No Bog Checks or Extra MP required
4. Units at Level One Hill Hexes can See All Other Level One Hill Hexes, that are Open Ground, unless there is Terrain or Building Obstruction to Line of Sight

Japanese Setup: The Japanese Player, could setup Blockhouse Pillboxes on any of the Level One Hill Hexes, using Hidden Placement to make it more difficult for the U S Player to find their locations

Searching /Hidden Fortifications:
1. If Opposing force sets up Hidden Fortifications
2. Firing on Suspected Hex or Hexes is one Method
a. Fire into Hex , is Halved /Area FIre
3.Friendly Units entering Hex does not cause loss of Hidden Status
4. Searching:
a. During Move Phase, Search Teams move up to Hex or Hexes to be Searched
b. Opposing Hidden Units, may Defensive First Fire as Search Units move Up
The Hidden Units would then lose Hidden Status once they Fire/Concealment/Hidden Loss Activity
c. Otherwise, if no hostile defensive fire happens, at end of Search Player Move Phase
each Search Team Makes Search dr
the dr, is the # of Hexes , in 6 Hex Radius around Searching Unit that MAY NOT be Searched at the End of Move Phase
d. Searched Hexes that contain hidden Unit/Fortifications /in searched Hex must be Placed on Board, exact contents of Pillbox
remain unknown unless they Fire From inside the Pillbox, the pillbox player then has to show the Units that Fired, any other
units in Pillbox that did not Fire remain unknown
