Aftermath: The U S Landing Team became pinned down at Seawall , after landing , by heavy fire from West Side of Ryan Ridge,
Japanese Positions had been configured to Ridge, in all around Porcupine Setup, to counter any Flanking Tactic

Okinawa, 20 April 1945
Situation:
U S Commander faced with the Prospect of Stalemate at Item Pocket ordered an Amphibious Landing from the East China Sea to Outflank Japanese
Positions on Ryan Ridge.
Covering fire from Fox Ridge, NW of Ryan Ridge would support the Attempt
