ASL Game Module Yanks/Rising Sun
Map Board 2 North
Map Board 15 South
Scenario Title Critical Mass
Situation: East of Item Pocket
U S Commanders had to commit more Tanks/SP Guns to augment depleted Infantry Strengths, to take the Flat Top area of Ridges, near Shuri Castle.
The Ridges near Shuri would be the most difficult objectives due to the Ridge mass that provided several points for Mutual Support Cross Fire, between Ridges.
To Tackle the problem, U S Commanders, split their depleted Forces into Groups to take each Ridge Separately and at once to cancel the Cross Fire Factor, US Assault Groups were at this point heavily augmented with Tank/SP GUn Support.
