Um die Lächerlichkeit eines Adolf Hitler zu erkennen, brauchte es niemals englischsprachige Autoren, die eh alles verfälschen...

My mother hated Qualtinger, she disgusted his fat body and, unfortunately, his lyrics were strange to her.
In their youth authors were "nimble as greyhounds, hard as Krupp steel, slim and slender, and not stuffed and drunk like a Herr Qualtinger!"

Yesterday!

As soon as Qualtinger was on TV, the lady switched, she didn't want to see the fat man, and she certainly didn't want to see anything about the old Nazis...
(My mother wasn't interested in politics)

One only has to internalize his reading "Im Elternhaus", the details and peaks will never open up to an English-speaking reader/listener, will they..?

But that's normal, the German language, nothing to apologize for!

You have to read the whole book, hear it, read it from A-Z by e.g. Qualtinger.
I am very sure that none of you have read "Mein Kampf" in its entirety, or can even begin to recapitulate the content in 12 sentences, there is no shame if not...

The most read book that no one has actually read, actually why not ?
(Good question, isn't it...)
