Today I saw a movie called "Wheels of terror", and I have some questions about the tanks they where using.
1. In the beginning of the movie we see the main characters driving a tank, it doesn't look like a ww2-tank to me. Can someone tell me what kind of tank this is?
2. The other tanks in the movie looked like STUGs and T34s, are they real?

dear F.N.
it's a T54 ! The first prototype was produced at the end of '45, the Nazi's, of course, never disposed of this model, it's definitely a gross historical error in the movie

Hi, if I'm not mistaken it's T54. T-54 and T-55 are a generation of tanks manufactured in the Soviet Union and equipped with the army of this country since 1947. This is the most produced tank model in history with a total of 95,000 vehicles manufactured.

WW2 German armored vehicles are very rare today so movies tended to use whatever they could get and make look similarF.N. wrote: ↑27 Mar 2004 22:52Today I saw a movie called "Wheels of terror", and I have some questions about the tanks they where using.

A T-55 stood in for a panzer and later a Su-100 was used
