And here is some information on what looks like an exciting new game.
Battlefield 1942 is due to be released on September 14th and lists at $45.00.

I tried the single player and my pc (only a 400 cleeron) was woefully inadequate.

looks like I will have to miss out.

it does look nice, though there were many bugs in the 1 player demo-ok it was only a beta demo !
