Your quote:Anyone post,,,,,,,,Hans1906..?? post a pic of one you have seen in the past..

Mark, 99,9% of everything is related to the Wikipedia, more, or less...

What to post anymore, a big black question mark, for sure also in the Wikipedia..?

Hans1906

(I hope, "Hans1906" is not in the Wikipedia, but you never know...) 8-)
(Someone will tell us very soon...?

Btw. Is the term "Copyright" protected by a so called copyright, no idea at all?
Before I write the forum down in problems, I will leave my fingers away from any keyboard, enough warnings...

Come on Hans, there’s still loads of war, ww1, ww2, cold war etc. etc. films to choose from. And who said you can’t use wikipedia? For my own case I will at least stick to Marks own rule of “have seen the film” and not just post something obscure found on the www. If you need some help I could suggest Laurel & Hardy, Buster Keaton or Chaplin - as far as I know none of these have been posted yet.

Dear Hans1906,

Generally, it's always best to visit / refer to specialist websites and in the case of movies - movie websites ;)
For example, the main international movie website https://www.imdb.com/ or the excellent German https://www.filmportal.de/
As you know, there's no rule against Wikipedia, my appeal not to use it (particularly in the music section) since it's unreliable is my personal appeal.

Cheers,
Ivan

I'll keep the contest going.. Turned this one on this afternoon via DVR & TCM as background sounds. I enjoy this *B* flick and an FYI many of the buildings, the train depot, ranges I have actually seen way back in the early 70's when I was on TDY there .Today all of the training ranges are gone, train depot has not been used for years, but parts are still intact, and all outdoor scenes of the mountain raqnges, are of coursethere

Mark,

the soldier in the background looks like the american actor George C. Scott, but the shot is not from the movie
"Patton" from the year 1970..?

Difficult :?

Mark,

sorry, my only reference to the term "Gung-Ho" is the american magazine from the 1970s, and the early 1980s.

Also, another comedy movie about the war in Vietnam? :?

No idea at all, sorry?

No Hans, a 1940s WWII movie. Believe it or not, available through wikipedia. Deutsch: „Unternehmen Donnerschlag“.
