Sorry gentlemen, but the correct answer has NOT been given.My refer to the term Gung Ho was meant as a description of the type of movie so prevelent in the Cold War era American film business.THe name of this flick ..well a hint that gives it away...something to do with common battlefield tactics...

Nope, this movie weas made in 1953, I watched it late last night on the bigass screen tv while playing with dogs, and realised this flick is really bad.Filled with typical 1950's nonsense, but I had to watch it aginas I needed some punishment for being way too mellow yesterday at the homestead. I'll give you all another clue, this one will give it away.. Major stars are R.W. & K.M. as *mean*Drill Sargents babysitting new recruits at Ft Bliss Basic Training Depot..

Mark is probably referring about the 1974 DDR/DEFA production "Jakob der Lügner", E: "Jacob the Liar", but I am not sure?

Could be also a still shot from the 1999 remake, USA production.
