At first I thought it was Berlin 1945 then recalled the flick, watched parts of it but did not like the sub titles. So I pass my turn as I did a www search on what I remember about the movie and was given the answer via a Soviet movie fan site..

Barbara Bach in "Force 10 from Navarone" with Harrison Ford, Franco Nero, Edward FOX, Richard Kiel and Robert Shaw.
It is the successor movie of Alistair McLean's "Die Kanonen von Navarone".

If anyone can be bothered, I would like to know exactly where this pic appears in the movie.
At 1:14:08., there is a very short scene of tanks in Heroes Square, but not the pic itself. Neither does Waleed's pic, as far as I can see .
I have only skipped through the movie quickly so may have missed it elsewhere and It may also be from a different cut/version.
Here is a Youtube of the movie [Hungarian / Turkish]

Hi Max,
hmm, in the video of your link I also haven't found this specific scene. Unfortunately I don't found the other YouTube video which offers the complete movie and which has this scene in it.
Regarding von Thoma's riddle I believe that the beer hall scene with actor Brian Dennehy is quite likely from the movie "Georg Elser".
Best regards

Both are correct, but Waleed shot first, "Prior in tempore, potior in iure"....go ahead.
