As a fan of Dame Moreau, this film was a "must see" for me, and I was not disappointed, very worth seeing!

The baton goes to Denmark, once again!

Okay, another movie riddle, hopefully this topic will not fall asleep...

Yes, a "war" movie.

As far as I could tell, a Winchester and a Henry rifle... (Personally, I would prefer the "Henry")

Just for technical accuracy both rifles were Winchesters, note the side ammunition loading gate. Period Henrys loaded directly through the tube like the old 22 short gallery rifles. As a combat weapon of the time I prefer the Spencer Carbine. Low power cartridge and shorter range but the availability of the blakslee reloading kit with 7 spare loaded magazine tubes increased firepower at the more common short combat range. The enclosed pics show the Henry's differences.

Ok, I watched this yesterday, had it DVR'd from TCM,took me 3 seperate sit downs as I was doing chores, I found it ok, but not a flick that will float my boat, and I had trouble reading the English captions while trying to watch the scenes,

Mark,

unfortunately, I don't recognize any of the actresses, but I suspect an earlier East German, or even Russian production from the 1960s.
Maybe also from Poland, or Czechoslovakia.
