Well, the scene with the british soldier who sacrified his life for that drop container full of useless red berets from "A bridge too far".

Although Waleed proves to also know the scene, Helmut wins by correctly giving the situation and the title.

' A bridge too far ' ( 1977 ), by Sir Richard Attenborough.

Thanks Helmut,

the full movie on YT:

The Pianist - Full Movie HD (E)

I found the 1-DVD version (143 minutes) a few years ago for just 1,- Euro, the 2-DVD extented version, plus documentaries, etc. (?) is so far not known to me. Is the 2-DVD version worth it, maybe someone can report briefly on it..?

Herr Hans posted a good one, thank you!

Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb.
Actor: Sterling Hayden playing Brigadier General Jack D. Ripper,
Year: 1964

If correct, I pass my turn, just checking in on my lunch hour. Please someone else carry on with the quiz.

Hi Herr RandJS,

Correct, Sterling Hayden as "Brigadegeneral Jack D. Ripper" in the 1964 movie "Dr. Seltsam oder: Wie ich lernte, die Bombe zu lieben".

https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dr._Selts ... _zu_lieben

Sterling Hayden was always archaic, an exceptional actor, a character type, brilliant in many old gangster movies, the actor Hayden is a legend...

Dr. Strangelove (7/8) Movie CLIP - Kong Rides the Bomb (1964) HD

Hans, he did say “If correct, I pass my turn, just checking in on my lunch hour. Please someone else carry on with the quiz.” In other words the quiz is open for anyone to post the next movie.

I know how Jack D. Ripper feels, that Putin has been trying to sap and impurify my precious bodily fluids for at least twenty years.
