The Enemy Below (1957) soundtrack

[Topic entitled "Enemy Below" renamed by the music section host, Ivan Ž.]

For the last week since I watched "Enemy Below" I've been trying to figure out the name of a song in it. Specifically the one that the German U-Boat commander plays when he's trying to raise the spirits of the crew. Does anyone know the German name of that song, or..if it exists at all (wasn't created just for the movie) ?

The melody is of the German traditional (and instrumental) march "Der alte Dessauer". The lyrics are English, possibly made up for the movie.
