Well, I'd like a patch to patch the SS troops to actually have SS insignia... they did a great job on everything else, but put Heer collars on obvious SS soldiers.

Sigh.

I don't think most players care about things like that. I don't mean that to sound offensive or anything. Most gamers my age just want to "shoot the dang Nazis" :)

Heh. I think the real reason it wasn't included was so it could be sold in Europe more than whether or not kids in the US know what the SS were.

I take it you mean Medal of Honour - Frontline on the PS2?
Brilliant game!
Played it to death, completed it in under a week.
I have the other MoH games as well, at the time I thought they were pretty good but frontline blows them away, cant wait for the next one as long as there is not too much cloak and dagger element to it.
My favourite parts in frontline are Arnhen Knights, those panzer schrek teams and the mg42 gunners are hellish.

No, I meant the Medal of Honor Allied Assault for the PC. I don't have a PS2, worse luck.

Also have to find a 'blood mod'

The SS runes are not there in order to sell the gae in Germany, France and Italy...

If you get a chance, check it out on PS2, the uniforms are extremely good for a game. If you get close enough to them without getting blown away that is. If you get too close to them they club you with the butt of their weapon, so watch out......

Not a bad game but not the type I like to play. I played allied assault through with PC but it's bit too restrictive for my taste. I like games where there are more room for bit more creative problemsolving.
