Who here plays DoD? We should set up a game sometime and kill each other (in the game ofcourse!). Might be some fun :D

I've been meaning to buy Halflife again just for the DOD mod. For now I'm playing MOH:AA.

I do but as my arthritis is getting worse in my hands, I can't play for very long before it hurts like hell :((

In the UK Half Life is on budget release so is quite cheap-well worth buying.

I usually play on the JOLT (UK) servers or my isp's crappy servers (Blueyonder) UK.

Usually I play through the night as I am always awake then cos of the arthritis.

hey we could form a squad and challenge other forums...

It's an interesting idea, Kobold. I know that Halflife is cheap now, I really should get off my duff and just buy it again.

DOD blows MOH:AA out of the water. DoD is more realistic plus no shotguns or rockets!

I agree, unlike return to castle Wolf. and MOH:Aliied assault, day of defeat is the most accurate and realistic, in addition all weapons are authentic and work in realistic manner, and man dont you just love all the taunts; m42 rocks; I am up for a challenge, if enough people own the game here and have good connection, lets host the server and bring it on

mg 42 that is, Alex

and grenades are surprisingly (unlike in WW2) effective, I always toss a grenade around the corner in Angio map, and 3/5 times it kills someone, its even better when FF is off

theres a few places on various maps where the grenade bug can be devastating.
I have seen whole teams wiped out by 1 grenade at times... hehe

have you found the secret rooms yet??
I have seen 3 so far but can only get to two of them - anzio & cherbourg maps.
theres also one on the para_glider.map but i cant see the entrace to it - but i have sen people in it when i am in spectator mode.

DoD is the Best multiplayer game.
But you must have a good speed connection.
The new release looks very well.
