I was recently reading through Antonio Schmidt-Brentano ' Die k.k. bzw k.u.k. Generalitat 1816 -1918' when I came across the abbreviation(?) beurl.
in relation to some of the Generals listed i.e, Vincenz Freiherr von Abele (page 3), Rudolf Hess (page 87) and Ludwig Freiherr Schwitzer von Bayersheim (page 213).
The listing has their various promotion dates and then adds a date with beurl.
The term is not listed among the abbreviations in the front of the book.
Can anyone enlighten me on the meaning of 'beurl' please?
