Desiderius Hampel during the Great War

I am currently reading the regimental history of IR 16 (Belovár - Bjelovar) during the Great War 1914-1918 and on several occasions the history mentions a certain Leutnant HAMPEL.

Can anyone please confirm if SS-Brigadeführer Desiderius Hampel, the future commander of the 13th Waffen-SS Gebirgs-Division "Handschar" (Croatian No.1) from 1942 to 1945 ever served with this regiment during World War One? He was born in Sissak (Croatia), so there is a good chance I would say...

I thank you both for your prompt replies. Yes, that's him all right. The history mentions this "Training-Course -> Lehrgang" in Truskawiece and Leutnant Hampel taking part in it with some other regimental officers. Also generally I got the impression that he had spent quite a lot of time at various training courses or in hospitals.
