Greg,

Thanks mate.

I was after where they gained there Ottoman awards?

Brantner and Glasner possibly in Galacia with the Ottoman 15th Corps

As to Moro I was thinking he went to Palestine with an Artillery unit as he was from the No 9 FAR possibly served with No 9th Bty Motor-Mörser-Batterie KUK Artillery, but that's a guess?

Or he could have also been attached to the 15th Corps in Galacia?

Cheers

Glasner and Moro were officers at BMfHW (Bundesministerium für Heereswesen)
Brantner was officer at Heeresinspektorat.
Both never were in Turkey.

Moro served as "Artillerie- und Generalstabsoffizier und Ingenieur" with the 4. turkish army command in Syria and Arabia.

"10.01.1916 – 20.03.1918 zugeteilt dem Kdt. der kais.ottom. 4 Armee und Marineminister Achmed Djemal Pascha in Syrien und Palästina. Zweite Suezkanalexpedition, erste und zweite Schlacht von Gazza (Infanteriestreifschuß)."

Ah So!

Colonelgeneral Ali Fuad Erden the former COS of 4th Army wrote in his book " HQ of Cemal Pasha were all Turks not araps or germaNS. There was ONLY an Austrian Engeneer Captain called Moreau. He was attached his order by Kaiser Karl when he visited Austria"

I say there was no Moro. but now I say Moreau (Moro) thanks
