What were the differences between Hapsburg military officers and military officials?
From what I can make out, the stars on the collars represented combat officers, and the rosettes on the collars represented non-combatant ranks. Is that correct?
Also, were their pay differences between officers and officials of the same rank? Did military officials wear swords and rate salutes like military officers? Would military officers and officials share the same officer clubs?

I'm still curious how similar or different the people who held these ranks were treated.
