On 1 August 1916 the Italian submarine Salpa torpedoed the destroyer Magnet, blowing off her stern and leaving her a constructive total loss.

On 4 June 1916 the Italian submarine Atropo torpedoed and sank the auxiliary (transport) Albanien.

On the Albanian the French say the Archimede the Italians have the Atropo sinking this ship

The French claim (which I've never heard of before) seems to be plain wrong, even the date is wrong (22 May, whereas Albanien was sunk on 4 June). I only have Italian books, but from a Internet search pretty much every page I can find mentions the Albanien as having been sunk on 4 June and by Atropo:

Paul G. Halpern also say this rather clearly in his book "The Naval War in the Mediterranean: 1914-1918":

Likewise, these German language books mention the Albanien as having been sunk on 4 June 1916, the date of Atropo's attack:
