Hi
I an new here and found the site doing some research for a story I am wring
The story I am writing is set in Austria at the beginning of ww 1 and a soldier you goes to fight on the Serbian frontier.
What I am having issue with and looking for help is details of living condition at the time. What they ate where their accommodation were they in camps, did they commandeer houses and other property and general daily life when not in battle.
Any help would be great if there is online sources or photos there is so much about life in the trenches but little I can find on the Eastern Front
Thanks for your help
