Dear members,
This is a lapel badge that I have not seen before in 50 years of collecting. I believe it is an Austrian WW1 veteran's badge.
It bears a quote from Adolf Hitler and is dated 1915-18. It is also numbered 684.
Can anyone tell me anything about it or which organisation it represents ?
Best regards as ever
Tony

It has something to do with 25 years anniversary of Oberösterreichischen Freiwilligen Schützen departure for war.
In late August 1940 a monument was erected in Linz with exact sentence as appears on this badge:
Although sentence they mentioned there has ist not war.
