need help: infos about gen.maj. janowski

Post by maxxx » 15 May 2004 16:34

for a friend i am looking for information on one of his relatives:

gen.maj.janowski, a pioneer officer ,
former austrian officer, who retired after the "anschluss" , but was reactivated during the war.
I have only second hand information, but he was a former k.u.k. officer, transfering to the bundesheer, some connection to Pioneer-school at Klosterneuburg and quit his job in 1938. Rumour says, he was at Remagen in 1945 , the executed officers after the fall of the bridge belonging to his command.

informations about his austrian career wanted. So if you have a "Schematismus" at hand, please help!

thanks! maxxx.
