ok, so Schuschnigg was the actual head of the Vaterlandsiche Front, but who is Wilhelm Miklas, i've read parts of the rise and fall of the third reich, and they mention him a few times, but he is only refred to as either Wilhelm Miklas or just President Miklas. how long was he in power? was he a member of the Fatherland front etc, and what became of him after the Anchluss?

reading on the same web site..it talks about how aftre Dolfuss was murdered, he was succeded as leader of Vaterlandische Front by Ernst Starhemberg, does this mean Starhemberg was the chancellor of Austria or just head of the party with Miklas as president and Schuschnigg as Bundesfuhrer?

Other way around. Ernst Rüdiger v. Starhemberg was Bundesfuehrer der Vaterlandsfront and Schuschnigg Kanzler.

I wrote a brief (English) wikipedia article on Miklas this July, which is HERE. There's not exactly a wealth of information on him, but hopefully you learn at least one new thing :)
