Kurt Conrad von Hötzendorf

Hallo,

I'm reading a bit about Conrad at the moment and am not sure what to think about his son Kurt.
In the book I am holding in my hands is written that he suffered from a kind of pneumonia from the outbreak of war until the end.
Because of this he was often in hospitals, for some time even in Switzerland and was thus only for a short time at the front.
Somewhere else (?) I think to have read that Kurt suffered from some kind of psychic illness, similar to Georg Trakl. The point of interest for me is how Franz Conrad reacted to this illness if it was really related to the horror of warfare.
Thanks for any tips!
