Halo Sturm78,
Concerning post #705 from 12 May 12
Very rare gun , but J found it at last , notice the old Rundkeil .

It is an old 9 cm German field gun M 73 .

There is a photo in Delsert , Dubois , Kowal : La Flak 1914 - 1918
Volume no 2 ,page 197 => perfect match !

Thank you very much for your help, ludvig :)

Only a question. According to Wikipedia the 9cm M73 gun did`t have a recoil mechanism so...What is the cylinder below the barrel of the gun ?? :?

I cannot find a pic of the gun in a coast defence role, but the picture looks like it is a fairly long calibre gun, and the only really long Russian gun I can find is the Obukhovskii 12"/52 Pattern 1907 gun. The pic is obviously a fair sized gun, but I am not too sure it is a 12" gun, though it maybe close. Certainly there were many of these guns in such a role though.

Hi Terry
Ummhhh....I don't think an 12in 305mm gun. I would say it is a gun around 15cm caliber... :roll:

Re post number 713 21 Sep 2019, 23:52 My best guess would be a 152 MM 45 Canet model 1892.

Hey sturm78,
It's the dismounted breech from the sole 28cm l/14 haubitze. From the same vendor:

also from a past auction :
