Flying Without Proper Treatment!

Post by Edward L. Hsiao » 11 Sep 2019 09:02

There is only one man that I know that will fly and fight against numerous enemies even if his one arm was unhealed, living on pills, and sometimes screamed in pain during dogfights during WWI. He had enormous sense of duty and iron will pushing his shot up body. He was wounded numerous times during WWI. He's a German who just won't stop fighting for his country! His name was Rudolf Berthold, "The Iron Knight". Ace with 44 air to air victories confirmed. He was much more strict in running his Jagdeschwader II than Manfred von Richthofen had on his Jagdeschwader I. Can you think of any pilot who would continue to fly even if some parts of his body was not healed properly?
