Thank you.
Mayer, Richard (Wein 31.05.1860 – 04.02.1943 Graz) I agree
Resch, Gustav (Verona 02.11.1857 – 28.05.1923 Budapest)???!!!, lived in Czechoslovakia. Dear colleague, it seems you confused him with: Resch von Bethlenfalva, Franz (12.10.1859 - 28.5.1923), he really died in Budapest.

And my find:

Tilzer, Ing. Friedrich Edler von (23.9.1867 - 5.6.1946, Wien)

Dear Colleague,
Is it possible that the Czechoslovak Government didn’t recognise the promotion of Karel Wittmann because of monetary (pension) concerns?

Georg Zivkovic (Alt-Österreichs Heerführer 1541 -1918; page 240) has him listed as a GM in 1918 as Kommandant of 98. Infanterie-Brigade.
Jӧrg Steiner – Schematismus der Generale und Obersten die k.u.k. Armee Stand: 32. Dezemeber 1918 - also has him listed as a Generalmajor (18.12.1918).

All I am suggesting is that he may well be a legitimate candidate for the list without being given due recognition by the Czechoslovak Government.
Regards,
Ian

Dear, kaisertreu. I agree with you. But the fact is that when he received his pension, he was listed as a colonel.
I manage to pick some dates of my life, I see after what year the general disappears from the lists of military pensioners. I’ll try to place here who lived where in Czechoslovakia after the First World War.
Regards.

Regarding Wittmann, I think he belongs to the list regardless of his status in tha CSR, since there are sources that list him as k.u.k. Generalmajor, Schmidt-Brentano included.

I agree that compiling a list which elaborates on generals living in CSR would be extremely helpful, since for those who were alive after 1930, for various reasons it is usually difficult to establish a date of death, so every detail helps to narrow down the search.
