Designation of individual guns on Light German Cruisers?
I know from the German battle-cruisers that the turret numbering or alphabetical designation is `Turm No. A"
began at the bow of a ship and then continued clockwise, i.e. starting on the right/starboard, around the ship.
How was the designation by light Cruiser Type with with twelve x 10.5 cm guns?
Was the position of Gun No. 3 (C?) on the, for example "SMS Breslau", i.e. right / starboard,
and the opposite, on the left / port side then had the designation, Gun No. 12 (L?)
Many thanks for any help.
Cheers Holger
