A great collection of images and cards!
A friend visited me last night and brought over a small box of items which had belonged to his late great grandfather. This box doesn't appear to have been opened for decades, and lay unknown and undiscovered by his family for a long long time.
The box contained letters from home, a fabulous diary with words from well wishers, written before he left for war (and cartoons, games, comments by his comrades during the war), a map of a french town, perhaps were he was stationed at some point, a leave pass, what may be cinema or transport tickets, 2 medals, some little moments presumably made and given by his girl/wife, some great photos of the man and his comrades, and relevant to this thread, some British and German (and one French ) postcards.
Whilst my scanner was out of action, I did grab some photos of some of the postcards, and other items in the box.
I will post them all tonight, but here are a couple of german postcards - we don't know their origins (taken from a dugout, corpse or p.o.w. etc), but the soldiers name and unit appears to be on the rear of the cards which may be of interest. it would be great to find out anything about the German soldier.
apologies for poor quality, it was a rush job
since they are large images i provide links to my dropbox (I didnt want to reduce them as they are poor quality already)

Hi,
may I ask for support to identify these two high officers of the Kaiserliche Marine (most likely later Pour le Merite recipients)?
Many thanks in advance & kind regards
Schuddie
P.S. For family reasons I am strongly interested in any information regarding Reserve-Infanterie-Regiment 94 during WWI. Is there a appropriate section for that issue somewhere?
