Sturm,

Not a clue on the light gun, it looks to be in the 70-90mm range but I really do not recognize it as a specific gun and looks to be somewhat antiquated by the carriage.

The last photo could well be a 10"/254mm Russian piece, but I have not a clue how to verify the location!

Hi Sturm,

Late reply on your previous pic, but to me it looks like it may be a 30.5cm gun, though something nags me about it. Sorry not to be able to be more certain on them.

Nobody for my last two images?

Well, I found these other two images on Ebay.
I think a very rare 15cm K16 Rheinmetall gun. Can somebody confirm it?

Hi Sturm78,

This post is well buried in the forum. This is probably why many people who intervenes on WW2 artillery don’t check this WW1 section.

Here is what I found to help:

I agree with you. The barrel seems shorter. The diameter looks larger too. Here is another picture of what looks like the same type of gun but without designation besides 25 cm.

The first pictures shows a 7,62cm Ortsfeste Flak L/30 (russ. 02).

I don’t know about the 2nd picture.

There is a pencilled note underneath the 1st picture that reads “Krupp 3.4 in. automatic gun”. It looks indeed like a 8.8 cm naval gun.

The gun on the 2nd picture looks like one of these series of 8,8 cm L/30: Tbts KL/30, Ubts L/30
or Ubts + Tbts Flak L/30. Compare to the pictures here:

I agree with you: 15 cm K16 Rheinmetall – The wheels, the shield, the recoil system underneath the barrel match. Nice find!

It looks like the barrel of a 30,5 cm Haubizte M.11 from Skoda.

Thank you very much for your help, Emmanuel. :D . Not many people involved in this thread. :(

About my last image in another forum was identified finally as a Obice da 305-17 italian barrel trailer.

Sturm78,

Thank you for this information ! It explains why the top of the "two-hole" part above the barrel was flat (like for the 305-17) and not curved (like for the 30.5 cm M11). That had bothered me. At least, I estimated the caliber correctly.

Possibly a British 9.2" gun/howitzer. I recall seeing a very similar mounting for those, but cannot lay hands on a photo to check this.
