These are Belgian 210 mm mortars in German service. I believe that the guns were built by Krupp, presumably for fortification armament, and converted for field use. There is one piece extant in New Castle, Indiana, USA.

Well it could be, but the only reliable pic for the 164.7mm is very distant so hard to be sure, but I would say the barrel looks right at least.

The Italian howitzer looks like a prototype for the M18 variant which had an improved recoil/recuperator to permit elevation to 65 degrees,
a larger shield and wider wheel track. The original Modello 14 variant was a Krupp design and had a carriage similar to the German 15cm howitzers.
There is a surviving M18 variant in the Brussels museum - http://www.passioncompassion1418.com/Ca ... 49M18A.jpg

It's possible the Krupp designed howitzer was the original Krupp design for the 1911 howitzer evaluation conducted for the German Army. The original
Krupp design was dropped because it was over the maximum allowable weight.

Thanks a lot for your help, ludvig... :)

About the Cannone da 305/40, Do you have any aditional information ?
I knew the Cannone da 305/46 Mod.1909 naval gun ( Dante Alighieri battleship) and the Cannone da 305/50 coastal guns...(Venezia defences)

On the other hand, Can anyone identify this gun barrel ? I know it is a difficult question but....
