The barrel hanging from the crane looks like a 155mm L Mle 1877 de Bange barrel.

When this barrel was attached to its carriage the gun was transported with the barrel pulled back from the battery position and
a pair of wheels under the end of the trail. I haven't seen that carriage before but it's certainly designed to transport
the barrel.

Regards,

Charlie

Hi, Charlie

Indeed, the Bange 155mm Mle 1877 was transported in a single load with the barrel retracted on its carriage.
However, the trailer in my photo looks like a trailer specially designed to transport a barrel of a gun.
It even has small wheels that would fit into the carriage of the piece to mount the barrel, which would be difficult in the case of the 155mm Mle 1877

Normally in the artillery pieces that were transported in two parts the trailer of the barrel was a specific design...

So I was a little confused. :?

Hello Sturm78 ,
Post # 742 01 Apr 2020 :
it is an 30,5 cm Kûstenmörser L /10
From the mobile 30,5 cm M/11 for fixed coastal defense only two mortars ,
used in " provisorischeren 30,5 cm Küstenmörserbatterie Cope "

Hi ludvig

Thank you very much for your answer. :)
I did not know that there was a coastal version of the 30.5cm Skoda M11 field howitzer... 8O

It is a shame that the book is no longer available. :(
The Austro-Hungarian coastal artillery and especially the Pola defenses seem to be a rather interesting and little-known subject.

I have the book "The Austro-Hungarian artillery from 1867 to 1918" by M. Christian Ortner, but very little is said on this subject

Hi all,

This image was identied by Emmanuel as an 164.7mm Mle 1893 naval gun in this thread on 20 Dec 2011

But I am not sure. Now I think an 138.6mm Mle 1910 naval gun. Any opinion ?

The second image is of a similar gun from Ebay. I think an 138.6mm Mle 1910 gun, also
