Only the French 12th Corps was still in Italy by mid 1918.The German offensives on the Western Front meant that some of the French divisions pulled out.Fayolle was in command of the French deployment initially.

The French 12th Corps(July-Nov 1918) consisted of the 23rd and 2nd French Divisions.
