An update on the (incorrect) information I posted on the life dates of ilenczafalvi Sárkány Jenő

I have located this information on another Sárkány Jenő (son perhaps?)
ilenczafalvi Sárkány Jenő: Budapest, 22 September 1899 - near Krasnoye-Olim, 02 February 1943
1915-16: Graduated from a Military High School in Bratislava
1916-18: Student at the Mӧdling Technical Academy
1918: Promoted to Leutnant.
Served on the Italian front.
04 November 1918: He enters Italian captivity – released 25 September 1919.
Enters the Royal Honvéd Army.
Ezredes and Assistant to the Minister of Defence.
1939: Military attaché in Warsaw
01 August 1942: 2nd Hungarian Army (III. Chief of Staff of the Corps - Stomm Marcel).
During the retreat to the Don he committed suicide to avoid capture by the Russians.

Jake’s date of 1945 for vezérörnagy Jenő ilenczfalvi Sárkány is correct - 1945. Apologies to Jake for doubting😊

Regards,
Ian

Pachner von Zobor, Konstantin (29.8.1842 Nyitra - 20.1.1923 Bratislava)
Nevertheless, the alleged dates of death that I found in Czechoslovakia are confirmed.
