Did you mean to write that the most inspirational history is the best history??? If you did, then I may agree.
Nope, said it the way I meant to. Good history, like good writing, is inspirational, informative and educational in that order. ALL history is stories. Passed down from one generation to the next: inspiring the new generation wuth the deeds of the old.

In what sense "good" history?
What would be :"bad" history.

There is accurate and inaccurate history.

Inspirational history is a subjective value judgement.
