Specifically--When did France order the 12 Arabe class destroyers? Further info? Algerien and Annamite according to one source were laid down in January 1917. That suggests a 1916 order date. Secondly sales of arms, as early as August 1914 and possibly merchant ships in 1917 or 1918.Many thanks in advance. Alternately if anyone could be kind enough to a French naval site--I'll try to make it work. Many thanks in advance.
