Regarding Romania, there are few mistakes:
- the number of the mobilized personell was higher than 1 million;
- there is no chance that the number of dead soldiers could be so much higher than the number of wounded; probably the deaths includes also the dead civilians during the German occupation; Around 100.000 of soldiers died...
BI
Romanian casualties
I got my numbers from here :

If you have other numbers, please tell from where.
It is possible that romanian army had little medical care and many of serious wounded died after a short time and therefore be counted as dead and not wounded?

I read it. Unfortunatelly I know too little about that.
About high rate of casualities of romanian solders : in 1916 they were poor trained, poor lead and poor equiped. Also many officers belived strongly in infantry attack at bayonette; I read somewhere that in the Balkans wars bulgarian troops took high casualities because of this kind of obsolite 'heroic' bayonette charges.

In the link I gave you are mentioned all the sources we could find on Romanian casualties. It also should give you an idea on why the numbers on that site are dubious.MihaiC wrote: I read it. Unfortunatelly I know too little about that.
Also, the count of Saint-Aulaire mentions that about 80,000 men died because of the plague.
