USS Tampa Purple Heart Project

Head Note: I'd say Chadlow is more than an amateur.

Article about the the USS Tampa sunk in September, 1918 with 130 lost.

Note [USCG] "wasn't eligible for the [Purple Heart medal] award until 1942".
