Strange Coincidence

I came across this in David O'Mara's "The French on the Somme: From Serre to The River Somme, August 1914- 30 June 1916."

Apparently, one of the first two combat deaths in the French army in WWI was one Caporal Jules-André Peugeot. By absurd coincidence, perhaps the last combat death (recorded kia at 10:57 on 11 November 1918) was a soldier named Auguste-Joseph Renault.

As O'Mara states, "it is at least strange that both the first and last shared their names with major French car manufacturers."

Now all we need is a Rod Serling lead-in. 8O

Please, oh please don't let Shatner play the lead in the episode. :o

Which version of Shatner do you object to?
